GVGT Studio is a St. Clair Shores family photographer specializing in natural, connection-focused photography for families across Metro Detroit. Our family sessions are created for real families—the playful ones, the affectionate ones, the beautifully chaotic ones, and the ones who swear they’re “not good at pictures.”

As a parent, I understand how quickly these seasons pass and how much the smallest moments eventually mean. Your family doesn’t need to pose perfectly or have everyone looking at the camera at once. We focus on genuine connection, individual personalities, and the way your family naturally loves one another and create images that last longer than the moment.

What to Expect:

Family sessions are relaxed, guided, and designed to keep everyone comfortable. You’ll receive direction when you need it, along with space to laugh, interact, and simply be together. Children can warm up at their own pace, siblings can be themselves, and parents are encouraged to step into the photos instead of watching from the sidelines.

Sessions can include up to six family members and feature a mixture of full-family portraits, parent-and-child moments, sibling photos, and natural interactions. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or preserving an ordinary season of family life, we’ll create meaningful images that feel honest, warm, and unmistakably yours.
