Hey there! I’m Taylor — the founder, photographer, and proud mama behind GVGT Studio. If you’ve landed here, first of all, welcome. I hope you feel the warmth and joy that fills every corner of our studio — the same feeling I had the first time I captured my daughter’s newborn photos and realized, this is what I’m meant to do.

GVGT Studio was born out of a moment that changed everything: becoming a mom. When my daughter Iyla entered the world, I found myself obsessing over every tiny yawn, curl, and giggle. I didn’t want to miss a second — and I didn’t want other families to either. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a purpose, and eventually, into a business that lets me freeze time for other families the way I did for mine.

Now, years later, I’m a mom of two (shoutout to my little guy Ilen!) and married to my biggest supporter, Alonzo. And yes — if you visit the studio, there’s a good chance you’ll meet them too. We’re truly a family-run space, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Why I Do This Work

What I love most about photographing maternity, newborns, and children isn’t just the photos — it’s you. I love connecting with families, swapping parenting advice, laughing about toddler meltdowns, and hearing each person’s unique story. The families that come to GVGT don’t just leave with beautiful pictures — they leave knowing someone sees them.

Every session has its own energy:

  • Newborn sessions are warm, quiet, emotional — a soft celebration of new life.
  • Maternity sessions bring the glam, the glow, the anticipation.
  • Children’s sessions are playful, full of energy, and often a little wild — just the way we like it!
